Funding Policy

Purpose and Scope

This policy ensures transparency in research financing and compliance with funder mandates. All authors must disclose complete and accurate information about financial support received for their research and publication.

Disclosure Requirements

Authors are required to declare all sources of funding, including:

  • the name(s) of funding organisation(s);
  • the grant number(s) or reference codes, if applicable;
  • the role of the funder(s) in the design of the study, data collection, analysis, interpretation, writing, or publication decision.

If the research received no external funding, authors must include the following statement: “This research received no external funding.”

Funding and Open Access

The journal supports open access publishing in accordance with funder mandates. Authors whose research is supported by organisations requiring open access publication must ensure compliance with those policies. Acta Academiae Beregsasiensis, Philologica does not charge Article Processing Charges (APCs).

Funding Statement in Published Articles

A Funding Statement must appear in every manuscript, clearly identifying the source(s) of research support or stating that none were received.

For example: “Funding: This study was supported by the Hungarian Scientific Research Fund (Grant No. XYZ123).”
